The Community Trauma Response Team (CTRT), operated by JCW & Associates, LLC, provides trauma-informed post-crisis support to individuals and communities in Tacoma following traumatic incidents.
Violence and crisis events can have lasting emotional and social impacts on victims, families, and entire neighborhoods. CTRT exists to ensure that community members receive compassionate, culturally responsive support during these critical moments.
When traumatic violent incidents occur, the emotional impact often extends beyond those directly involved. Families, witnesses, and entire communities may experience grief, stress, and uncertainty.
CTRT responders provide trauma-informed support that helps individuals begin the healing process while connecting them with resources for long-term recovery.
